Earthy & Natural Tones

Earthy rugs use the colours of nature, such as beige, tan, brown, rust, olive and terracotta. They suit warm, natural rooms with wood, linen and plants.

Cream walls, wood furniture, black metal and green plants all work well. Add one stronger colour from the rug, such as rust or olive, in a cushion to tie the room together.

Yes. Warm neutral tones create a calm bedroom, and a 5x8 or 6x9 under the lower half of the bed works for most rooms. For a queen or king bed, an 8x10 leaves room to step onto the rug on both sides.

Choose a size that lets at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs rest on the rug, usually an 8x10, 8x11 or 9x12. Size names are rounded, so check the actual size shown under Size on each rug.

Natural tone rugs describe the colours, such as beige, tan, brown, olive and terracotta. A natural fibre rug is made from plant fibres. Check the material on each product page before you choose.
