6'x9' Rugs

A 6x9 rug suits a bedroom, a small living room, a home office or a dining nook. In a bedroom it can sit under the lower half of a queen bed, and in a small living room it fits under the front of the sofa and the coffee table.

6x9 is the size name for a rug of about 6 by 9 feet. The actual size is shown under Size on each rug and can be a few inches smaller.

Choose 6x9 for rooms about 10 by 12 feet or smaller, and 8x10 when you want all the sofa legs on the rug in a larger room. See our measuring guide for a quick check.

Only for a small table that seats four, about 3 by 4 feet. Leave about 24 inches past the table on every side so the chairs stay on the rug. For a larger table choose a bigger size.
