5'x7' Rugs

5x7 is the size name for a rug of about 5 by 7 feet. The actual size is shown under Size on each rug and can be a few inches smaller.

A 5x7 rug suits a small bedroom, a home office, a reading corner or the area in front of a sofa in a small living room. It is not large enough to sit under all the furniture in a full size living room.

It fits under a twin bed and works as an accent at the foot of a full bed. For a queen or king bed, choose an 8x10 or larger so there is room to step onto the rug on both sides.

Choose 5x7 for rooms about 9 by 11 feet or smaller, and 6x9 when you want the rug to reach under the front of the sofa and the coffee table.

A pad stops the rug from sliding and keeps the corners flat. Choose one a little smaller than the rug so it stays hidden.
