How do I test my floor before using a pad?
Place a small piece of the pad in a hidden spot under the rug, such as under a sofa, and leave it for a few weeks. Lift it now and then and check for marks, yellowing or residue. If the floor looks the same, the pad suits it.
What size rug pad should I buy?
Choose a pad at least 1 inch smaller than your rug on every side so it stays hidden. Size names are rounded, so check the actual size shown under Size on each pad, then trim the pad with sturdy scissors to fit.
How do I clean a PVC rug pad?
Hand wash the pad. Do not machine wash it, and let it air dry before you put it back under the rug.
